Denver County CO Jail Visitation

Before visiting an inmate in the Denver County Jail, you must schedule a visitation through Securus. Currently, the Denver County Jail and Detention Center only offer video visits. In-person visits are prohibited. 

You will need to take the following steps. 

  1. Set up an account through Securus. If you need assistance, visit the Customer Service Page. You can also register for an account with Securus at a kiosk in the jail lobby.
  2. You have two options for scheduling a visit. You can take part in a video visit on-site in the jail lobby. You can also schedule a remote video visit, but it will cost $8.99 for a 30-minute session. 
  3. Bring one of the following IDs:
  • State-issued driver’s license or state ID
  • Active military ID
  • Passport
  • Consulate ID

Try to be on time for each video visit. You can arrive up to 15 minutes early and log in up to one minute early. If you are late for the video visit, the time will be deducted from the scheduled time. 

 

Rules for Inmate Video Visits

  • All visitors may be subject to warrant checks.
  • Criminal acts or damage will result in prosecution.
  • By using the equipment, you consent to your video visit being recorded.
  • If you smell of alcohol or appear under the influence, you will be denied visitation.
  • If you are asked to leave and do not, you will be subjected to arrest. 
  • No disruptions or loud conversations will be allowed. 
  • All minors must be supervised properly. 
  • No nudity or revealing clothing is allowed.
  • No visible undergarments are allowed.
  • No displaying of weapons, alcohol, or drug paraphernalia. 
  • No displaying of gang signs or colors is allowed.
  • No cell phones, cameras, or recording devices are allowed.
  • Driving while on a video visit is not permitted. 
  • Blatantly sexual actions are forbidden. 
  • No tight or see-through clothing is allowed.
