Miami-Dade County FL Jail Visitation
To visit an inmate at Miami Dade County Jail, you will need to be listed on the Inmate’s Approved Master Visitation List. It is the inmate’s responsibility to place all approved visitors on their master list.
You will need to ensure you are an approved visitor. You will also need to register for an account through GTL. Inmates are allowed two video visits per week.
After registering for an account, please allow up to 24 hours for processing to be complete. Once complete, you will be allowed to select a day and time for your video visit.
Rules for Video Visitation
The Miami-Dade County Jail has specific rules that are strictly enforced regarding remote visitations. All video visitations are closely monitored and recorded for rule breakage.
- All visitors must follow the rules and regulations of the Miami-Dade County Jail or risk the termination of their video visit and/or the loss of video visit privilege for themselves or the inmate.
- Do not attempt to record, live stream, or rebroadcast the video visitation. Photographs are not allowed.
- It is the visitor’s responsibility to arrive on time. Video visitations begin and end at the scheduled time automatically. The Miami-Dade County Jail will not extend the visitation time for any logging-in issues.
- Do not use or display drugs, drug paraphernalia, weapons, or gang materials.
- No same-day visitations may be scheduled. You may schedule a video visitation up to seven days in advance.
- Proper clothing must be worn at all times. No see-through clothing, revealing clothing, or nudity are allowed.
- Only registered visitors may appear on the call. Unregistered visitors appearing on screen is a violation.
- Masks and face coverings must NOT be worn at any time during the video visitation session.
