Tulsa County OK Jail Visitation
If you would like to visit an inmate in-person, you will need to be an immediate relative. The jail staff will ask for proof of your relationship with the inmate. Acceptable forms of proof are marriage licenses, birth certificates, and other legal paperwork.
Before visiting an inmate at the jail, you must fill out a Visitor Request Form online. You may also download and print a copy of the form and deliver it to the jail.
The schedule for in-person visitation is Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Rules for In-Person Visitations
Before visiting an inmate in the Tulsa County Jail, you must be aware of the rules. Failure to follow the rules could result in your visitation being canceled.
- In-person visits are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Visits are limited to 15 minutes.
- Arrive no more than 30 minutes before the appointment and check in no later than 3:00 p.m.
- A records and warrant check will be carried out on all visitors.
- During lockdowns or meals, visitors will be asked to wait.
- All visitors must be at least 16 years of age and present a valid government-issued photo ID.
- Visitor Request Forms must be filled out by each visitor.
- Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
- The jail staff reserves the right to cancel a visit at any time and for any reason.
Video Visit Information
You may also visit an inmate via a video visitation. You will need to register for an account at https://deposits.jailatm.com/webdeposits/. On-site video visitations are available seven days a week between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. On-site video visitations are limited to immediate relatives.
Off-site video visitations are available seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visit https://deposits.jailatm.com/webdeposits/ to register and schedule an off-site video visitation. There is a cost involved with off-site video visitations. Off-site video visits are not limited to immediate relatives.
Rules for Inmate Visitations
- All visits, including in-person, will be no-contact visits.
- All visitors and their belongings are subject to being searched.
- Visitors must stay seated at all times during the visit.
- Visitors appearing under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be refused visitation and may be prosecuted.
- No personal belongings are allowed in the visitation rooms.
- No loud talking, threats, profanity, or disturbances will be tolerated.
Dress Codes for Visitors
The Tulsa County Jail has a strict dress code for visitors, whether you are visiting via video or in person. Consider the following dress code rules.
- You may not wear caps, hats, coats, hoodies, or jackets beyond the lobby. Religious head coverings are allowed. Lockers are provided for visitors’ belongings.
- Do not wear clothing that exposes the breasts, genitalia, buttocks, midriff, or back.
- Dresses, skirts, and shorts should not rise higher than three inches above the knee when sitting.
- Clothing with gang materials, obscenities, nudity, and distracting messages or designs will be prohibited.
- Do not wear off-the-shoulder, see-through, or excessively tight clothing.
- Do not wear tube tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, or mesh clothing.
- Do not wear biker pants, yoga pants, or bodysuits.
- Do not wear medical scrubs that are red, orange, black, or white in color.
- Do not wear clothing that pertains to law enforcement.
- Do not wear low-cut clothing or clothing with cut-out designs.
- Do not wear spandex clothing or bathing suits.
- No matter their gender, all visitors must wear appropriate undergarments under their clothing.
- Do not bring any tobacco products of any kind to the jail, or you will be guilty of a misdemeanor charge, which is punishable by up to one year in the County Jail or $500 in fines.
- All visitors will be subject to being searched. If you refuse to submit to a search, you will be escorted out of the jail. Canine drug detection may be used at the discretion of the correctional officers on duty.
